Family Law Attorney Scoot Ellerin speaks about the equal rights of fathers in divorce proceedings.
A very large part of our practice at Ellerin Hutchinson is representing fathers in contested time sharing cases. It used to be known as custody, and then it was known as primary residential responsibility and visitation, and now it's known as time sharing. Ultimately, however, it is the court determining who's going to be the majority time share parent. A big part of what we do is representing fathers to ensure that they will have the best possible chance to succeed at trial in a time sharing case. The case is ultimately set up from the beginning as if it is going to trial and we progress throughout the entire action each step of the way to make sure that we have the best chance of success at trial and any type of contested time sharing case. |
