Attorney Scott Ellerin discusses child time sharing or custody.
In October 2008, Florida's statutes completely changed. What they did is that they modified what used to be known as visitation and primary residential responsibility; now it is known as time sharing and there is the requirement that a parenting plan be established. The shift that occurred and the use of time sharing has really brought both parents onto an equal playing field. It really has recognized that both parents have equal rights as it related to a child. |
