Billionaire and Model Reach Child Support Agreement

The child support case between a French billionaire and his former model girlfriend has come to an end. Although the final terms of the settlement between Linda Evangelista and her former lover Francois-Henri Pinault have been kept a secret, it is assumed that both parties were in agreement with the results as they are due back in court next week to sign the final documentation. Earlier this month Evangelista made national headlines by asking the father of her child for an increase in child support. She claimed to need $46,000 per month to pay for their child's education, around-the-clock guards and a driver. Although it is not secret that Pinault is a billionaire – he is the CEO of several luxury brands –he was not willing to pay that much.

The two were not present in court last week but their attorneys met with the judge in his chambers to discuss the arrangement. Media from around the world gathered in New York City to hear the model's testimony in the child support case earlier this month.
