Turtles "Divorce" After 115 Years Together

Couple separate all the time. After years of being together and spending their time in each other's company, sometimes the closeness can drive us apart. But men and women all over the world were intrigued when two turtles decided that they needed a divorce as well. The two giant tortoises at a zoo in Austria are both almost 115 years old, and have spent their entire lives together. Famous at the zoo for their old age and everlasting love, the turtles draw large crowds every year. The married, reptilian couple goes by the names Bibi and Poldi. Yet things suddenly turned in the wrong direction when Bibi, the female turtle, attacked her mate. The slow-moving tortoise bit a chunk out of her male companion's shell, and since then they have wanted nothing to do with each other. The tortoises don't even want to be in the same enclosure any more. The zookeepers are calling it a divorce after a marriage that has been ongoing for 115 years.
If turtles have a hard time staying together, then it's no wonder that humans do. Sometimes the man or woman that you married may have changed, and things may not be the same as they were when you were newlyweds. Thankfully, with a good divorce lawyer, your separation from your spouse doesn't have to be exorbitantly messy and complicated. At our Jacksonville family law firm we can work hard to give you the service that you need and assist you in dissolving your marriage. A lot of financial, emotional, and familial issues accompany a divorce, and unlike the turtles above you can't just insist for a change of residence and be done with it.
