Even with a fortune in her grasp, Vanessa can't seem to sign the divorce papers. Sources say that the couple is trying to reconcile their differences and has been spending a lot of time together. They have not moved back into the same residence, but seem bent on forgiving and forgetting the past.

According to the California laws which are active where the couple lives, Bryant has to wait six months after filing the divorce to sign the documents and officially dissolve the marriage.
