Mother Loses Custody of Daughter for Administering Her with Botox

After admitting to injecting her own daughter with Botox, a mother has lost custody of that same child this week.

In an interview with "Good Morning America" Kerry Campbell admitted to giving her 8-year-old daughter, Britney, Botox shots. The young girl is a regular competitor in youth beauty pageants and Campbell wanted to give her daughter a competitive edge. She even went on to show how she gave the Botox shots to Britney on live television, and describe how it has become a common practice in the world of beauty pageants.

After hundreds of calls were lodged to Child Protective Services Britney was taken away from her mother. Campbell is now being investigated for multiple charges of child abuse.
