Sandra Bullock Says Divorce Made Her Stronger

Although her separation and divorce was tabloid-worthy for months, Sandra Bullock says that her divorce has made her a stronger person. The 46-year-old actress, who separated from ex-husband Jessie James last year, claims that she is now more patient and accommodating.

The actress discovered that her husband had been cheating on her just days after winning an Academy Award for The Blind Side last year. She then went on to complete a secret adoption of son Louis in January of this year. Bullock credits her shift to the mother role as making her too exhausted to even remember the worst of her separation and divorce period.

When she presented the Best Actor Oscar to Colin Forth for The King's Speech this year, Bullock looked radiant and much happier. She credits her dress choice to her son, who adores the color red.
