Man Abducts His Own Son
Neil Little made the news recently when he abducted his own son, Everett Little. Now that the authorities have him locked up Little has to worry about the charges of interference with child custody and contempt of court (from a previous charge).
Little was discovered on Feb. 17, 2011 when officers with the United States Marshal Service located him and Everett in Wolverine, Michigan. The authorities have been searching for the pair since Oct. 10, 2010 when he fled with Everett after learning that there was a warrant out for his arrest. A judge signed off on the warrant after Little failed to comply with certain stipulations of his divorce.
Back in December of last year the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children realized that they had utilized all of their resources and failed. They called the Florida Regional Task Force and the United States Marshals Service to ask for help. The efforts of the new joint task force yielded vital information about Little, that he had access to large amounts of cash which allowed him to travel around the country.
