Murder Ensues During Child CUsotdy Fight

Tragedy struck in Georgia last week when a distraught man murdered the mother of his two children.

According to local officials Christopher Erdman, 25, has been charged with shooting and murdering 25-year-old Shannon Lawrence. The two had apparently gotten into a serious argument about child custody issues when he pulled out a gun and shot Lawrence four times in a Milton bank branch. Police reports show that the children witnessed the murder of their mother.

While the children were then brought to a family member's home, police searched for and eventually arrested Erdman. Relatives later told police that Erdman and Lawrence used to live together, although the dates of residence are still uncertain, in Forsyth County.
