This week, news sources reported that the pain inflicted by one father against his two-year-old son last week in Florida led to an arrest and criminal charges.
Deputies with the Santa Rosa County police department were called in to investigate a case of domestic violence after it had been reported. News sources say a family member saw bruising on the young boy's back and when he/she learned about the abuse, he/she contacted the authorities. The father was then taken into custody on charges of domestic violence and felony child abuse. He later told officers that he tried to stop his son from crying by punching him in the back.
When a medical professional examined the little boy, bruising along the spine was recorded, along with a swollen lip and a bloody nose.
