Domestic Violence Allegations Made Against Country Star

A country music star shocked fans when reports of domestic violence against his wife hit the media airwaves. Just a few weeks after she filed a claim against him, the husband filed divorce papers against her.

The singer was taken into custody last month when his wife told police that he had abused her. She alleged that after a night of heavy drinking, the singer hit her and shoved her face into a pillow. He then shoved her down into the ground in front of their 12-year-old son. Police arrested the singer on multiple charges but he was released later that night on $2,500 bond.

His attorney has fought back by saying that he never hurt his wife and that her claims are completely false. He is so angry about the charges that he does not want to stay married to her any longer.
