Football Player Wants Confirmation of Paternity
An award-winning football player has earned himself some negative publicity this month as fans learned about his troubles making child support payments.
Although he has made payments for the past few months, the player failed to make a payment for the month of August. In fact, he has stated that he refuses to make any future payments until the paternity of the child has been established. His child support payments were set at $5,000 per month in 2007 when he was earning a monthly income of $666,000.
At this time, the 37-year-old player is a free agent with the NFL. He has just one child with the woman with whom he is currently fighting with in court.
